Crimson Desert Supported Languages and Voice Options
Crimson Desert currently supports 14 interface and subtitle languages, with full voiceover in three of them. Here is the official language list and the physical-vs-digital caveat that matters.
Crimson Desert currently supports 14 interface and subtitle languages, but only 3 of those have full voiceover.
That is the clean official answer from Pearl Abyss' FAQ, and Steam's language table matches that overall language count.
Quick answer
Interface and subtitles
Crimson Desert officially supports:
- English
- French
- Italian
- German
- Spanish (Spain)
- Japanese
- Korean
- Polish
- Russian
- Simplified Chinese
- Spanish (Latin America)
- Traditional Chinese
- Portuguese (Brazil)
- Turkish
Full voiceover
Full voice acting is officially available in:
- English
- Korean
- Simplified Chinese
Where to change the language
Pearl Abyss says the in-game path is:
MenuOtherOptionsSettingsLanguages and Gameplay
That means you do not need a separate launcher tweak just to swap supported languages after install.
The physical-vs-digital caveat that matters
Digital copies are the simplest option here. Pearl Abyss says:
- digital editions support all languages regardless of purchase region
Physical PlayStation editions are more complicated:
- Asia version supports Simplified and Traditional Chinese
- Korean and Japanese versions do not support Simplified or Traditional Chinese
So if Chinese-language support is a purchase blocker for you, the region of a physical PlayStation copy matters.
Does Steam show the same picture?
Broadly, yes.
Steam's store page currently shows the same 14 supported languages and the same full audio trio:
- English
- Korean
- Simplified Chinese
That is useful because it confirms the FAQ wording is not out of step with the live PC storefront.
